Ayla Tesler-Mabe

Ayla Tesler-Mabé is a 24-year-old guitarist, songwriter, producer, and artist based in Vancouver. Widely known for her jaw-dropping guitar chops and soulful playing, Ayla first made waves at 15 when her cover of Led Zeppelin’s Since I’ve Been Loving You went viral. She toured internationally with the indie-rock band Calpurnia, co-wrote with Willow Smith, and has since evolved into a compelling solo artist with a sound that blends psychedelic rock, funk, soul, and deep emotional storytelling.

Her debut EP, Let Me Out!! (2023), marked a confident step into her own sonic universe—fusing vintage tones with fresh grooves and introspective lyrics. Now, with singles like “Am I” and “Endless Summer”, Ayla is expanding her sound further into a lush, analog-inspired world where shimmering guitar textures meet heartfelt, often existential songwriting. Endless Summer, released on April 4, 2025, is a love letter to friendship and freedom, described by Ayla as “the 1967 Summer of Love brought to 2025.”

A passionate educator and collaborator, Ayla has worked with brands like Fender and Ernie Ball, and her videos have earned millions of views across platforms. She’s an artist bridging generations through both her technical prowess and emotional resonance.

This summer, Ayla brings her original music to major festival stages, including the Victoria International Jazz Festival on June 28 and the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival on July 12, followed by a BC Interior tour with stops in Golden, Kelowna, Kamloops, Nelson, Invermere, Fernie, and more.
