Himalayan Bear

Himalayan Bear is the decades long running project of Canadian musician Ryan Beattie.

As a member of several projects (including Ashley Shadow, Frog Eyes, Lightning Dust, Chet, Black Mountain, Kathryn Calder) he’s kept Himalayan Bear running as a primary writing outlet with the help of a rotating lineup of members.  Currently they’re working on their 8th album.

With lyric forward songs steeped in reverb and absorbing guitar tones, Himalayan Bear is a unique gem in the Canadian music landscape.
