Magnolia Electric Co., Justin Townes Earle, and The Byrds are some of our biggest inspirations for songwriting—honest fables about love, loss and humility. Townes Van Zandt’s cover of the Rolling Stones song ‘Dead Flowers’ made such an impact on us that we named our band after it.
